How Do You Escape the Crimson Room?

"Escape From Crimson Room," a popular online-flash game, has been puzzling players since its release in 2004. Escaping from the dreaded crimson room requires a series of meticulous actions. These actions help you acquire items, which you can eventually use to escape the crimson room.

Instructions

1. Click on the yellow bowl on top of the television stand. In the bowl, you'll see a "thin ring." Click on the ring to pick it up.

2. Click on the upper-left television-stand drawer. Inside you'll find a CD. Click on the CD to pick it up.

3. Click on the upper-right drawer. Inside you'll find the "memorandum." Click on it to pick it up.

4. Click the area underneath the television stand. You'll duck to peek beneath the stand, where you'll find a cassette tape. Click on it to pick it up.

5. Move to the right side of the room. Click repeatedly on the window curtain to open and close it. After a few clicks, an item will fall to the floor. Pick up the "thick ring" that falls on the floor.

6. Click on the window frame. Click on the "small silver key" to pick it up.

7. Click on the bed, and then click on the pillow. When the pillow lifts, you'll see a large key. Click on it to pick it up.

8. Click on the bed and pillow again, and then click between the mattress and the headboard. You'll find a small silver stick between the mattress and the headboard. Click on it to pick it up.

9. Click on the foot of the bed. You'll find a battery between the mattress and the foot of the bed. Click on it to pick it up.

10. Click on the small silver key in your inventory sidebar. Use the key on the bottom-right television-stand drawer. Inside, click on the box to pick it up. Then use the golden key to open the lower-left television-stand drawer. Click on the power-supply cable to pick it up.

11. Click on the power-supply cord in your inventory. Use the cord on the stereo. Click on the stereo to open the CD tray. On the CD tray, you'll find another key. Click on it to pick it up.

12. Click on the box within your inventory. The box displays on the main screen. Click on the small-silver stick and drag in onto the box.

13. Click on the thin ring. Drag it onto the box. Then click on the thick ring and drag it to the box. Click on the box again to open it. Click on the cassette tape and place it in the box. Click on the battery and place it in the box. The box closes and begins projecting a video.

14. Click on the wall that appears when the video stops. This brings up a safe. Enter the combination "3576," and then use the large key on the safe. You'll find a screwdriver inside. Click on it to pick it up.

15. Click on the screwdriver within your inventory. Use the screwdriver to pry off the door knob. Click on the door again to open it and escape the crimson room.
