  • Pencil
  • Wall anchor
  • Large eye hook
  • Measuring tape

      Use a pencil to mark the location in the ceiling you want to hang your candle from.

      Insert a wall anchor into your marked position. You can choose from a number of wall anchors. Use the anchor that is right for the material you will be hanging from and the weight of your candle. If you unsure of the proper anchor for your specific ceiling material and candle weight, ask an employee at your local hardware store. Different types of anchors are inserted differently, so follow product instructions for insertion.

      Insert a large eye hook into the anchor by twisting the screw part into the anchor until it is fully inserted.

      Use a measuring tape to determine the height you want your hanging candle to be. Purchase garden chain from your local home improvement store that is this length.

      Attach one end of your chain to the hanging eye hook. Use pliers to open the final length in the chain. Insert the hurricane candle holder's handle through the link you just opened. Then use your pliers to close the link.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you find the length of your chain is too long or too short once the candle is hung, you can adjust the number of links by using pliers to remove or add new links as necessary.
