How Can I Verify a Fein?
Owning a business in America allows many people to work for themselves and not have to answer to a supervisor or boss. However, the U.S. government keeps track of companies by assigning each business entity a Fein, EIN or Federal Tax Identification Number, as it is often called, in order to identify the company. If you own a company, or plan on doing business with another company and want to make sure it is legitimate, you can check on the authenticity of a business by verifying its Fein.
