How to Reduce Noise Using Adobe Audition 2
Adobe Audition 2 is a media-editing application that allows users to work with video and audio. The program includes several processing and mixing tools that can be used to create professional-level audio tracks. The effects tools include many options for reducing and removing noise from selected areas of an audio track.

Make a backup of the original file by clicking on the "File" option and then clicking on the "Save as" option. Enter a name for your file and locate the folder on your computer where you want to save the file. Click on the "Save" button.

Locate the noise that you want to reduce in the track and highlight the area using your mouse. Click on the "Effects" option from the top toolbar menu and then click on the "Auto Click/Pop Eliminator" option if the noise in your track consists of popping or clicking.

Use the settings in the from the Pop Eliminator screen to remove the popping or clicking sounds. Click on the "Auto Find All Levels" button to locate all of the rejected sound levels. Click on the "OK" button to save your changes.

Click on the "Effects" option and then click on the "Clip Restoration" option to remove clipping noise from a track, which is typically a static distortion or quick scratching sound. This effect will repair the section of the audio that has exceeded maximum volume levels.

Click on the "Effects" option with the noise section highlighted and click on the "Hiss Reduction" option to remove any hissing types of noise. You can also removing hissing noise using the "Parmametric Equalizer" effect from the "Effects" menu.

Click on the "Effects" option and click on the "Noise Reduction" option to remove all other types of noises. Move the bar in the "Noise Reduction Level" field to adjust the noise and click on the "Remove Noise" option from the "Noise Reduction Settings" field.

Click on the "Preview" button to hear your changes to reducing the noise. Click on the "OK" button to save your changes to the track.
