Once you have come up with your own word bank and clues, you can simply enter them into the online forms to generate your personal puzzle to print and photocopy. Visit online crossword puzzle makers to select one to use. Look at the Puzzle Maker section of Discover Education, the Crossword Puzzle Maker at Armored Penguin, or the Printable Worksheets section of the Teachers Corner. You might want to choose one puzzle maker over another because it allows you to create larger puzzles, puzzles with larger squares, or puzzles with longer clues.

Select and enter a title for your puzzle in the form. Enter an author name if you wish.
