How to Make a Music CD Using iTunes
Making a music CD using iTunes is an easy and convenient process, especially if you already use iTunes to manage your digital music collection. If you do not use iTunes to manage your digital music collection, you will need to first import your music into iTunes before burning it to a music CD.

Open iTunes and click "File," then "New Playlist" to create a new playlist. Double-click on the new playlist that appears and rename it to represent the music CD that you are burning.

Drag music files from your iTunes library into the new playlist. When finished adding songs to the playlist, click on the playlist name to select it, then rearrange the music files in the playlist to place them your preferred order for the CD.

Click the "Burn Disc" button at the bottom of the iTunes window. Choose "Audio CD" in the "Burn Settings" from the resulting dialog box and then select "Burn." When prompted by iTunes, insert a blank CD-R into your computer. iTunes will proceed to burn the music CD automatically.

Eject the CD when iTunes is finished burning.

Tips & Warnings
If the files you would like to add to your CD playlist are not yet in iTunes, click "File," then "Add to Library," and then browse to select the audio files you would like to import into iTunes.
