How to Play M4A Files in Windows Media Player
Early versions of Windows Media Player do not support the M4A audio file format, an MPEG-4 encoded audio file made popular by Apple. But the newer versions, such as Windows Media Player 11, give users the ability to play these M4A files. Installing the latest version of Windows Media Player on your computer will not only give you the ability to play M4A audio files, but will also enhance your listening experience with instant searches, shuffle sync and a stacking display for albums.
