How to Install iTunes on Windows XP Professional

iTunes is the name of Apple's music management software. Though it is designed to be used in conjunction with one of Apple's iPod portable electronics, you don't actually need an iPod if you want to just download and listen to music on your computer. iTunes is a free download available on Apple's website, so if you have a computer running the Windows XP operating system the only thing standing between you and iTunes is the speed of your Internet connection.

Instructions

    • 1

      Open your Web browser.

    • 2

Go to Apple's official iTunes website (see "References" section for link).

    • 3

    • 5

Double-click on the iTunes installation file. Click "Next" to install iTunes on your Windows XP Professional computer.
