It is a difficult game to learn, which has discouraged rookie players in the past, but thanks to the boon of technology, you can play online or learn online. Bridge is played between four players and can not be practiced alone; there are bridge groups online though, so technically you play "alone." Some multiplayer online bridge communities offer hints and tutorials for new bridge players as well. YouTube also offers video tutorials on learning bridge.

Become a member of an online bridge group. Some online bridge communities are free and some require membership fees. Research each bridge community before you become a member.
Some websites offer free programs about learning bridge. Other websites may have links to bridge teachers who may be in your area.
Avoid websites which require you play bridge online with actual money, unless you are a veteran player and are willing to take the monetary risk.
