How to Disable Acpi in BIOS
ACPI (advanced configuration and power interface) is a power management option that resides within the computer's BIOS. Altering this from its default "on" setting can be necessary depending on the setup of your computer; enabling your PC to use a non-standard power interface system. Note that not all computer manufacturers leave this setting unlocked, so you might not be able to change it on your particular computer.
