A BIOS (Basic Input/Output System) is a program incorporated into a computer motherboard chip that includes options for controlling and configuring hardware (hard drives, peripheral devices or audio/video cards), as well as the general system setup such as the computer boot sequence. The BIOS in motherboards manufactured by Micro-Star International (MSI) also contain advanced options for processor overclocking and tweaking memory settings.

  • Reboot your computer.

  • Wait about 30 seconds until you see text strings or the MSI logo on your computer screen.

  • Press the "Del" ("Delete") key on the keyboard to enter the MSI BIOS.

  • Use the arrow keys to navigate through the BIOS menu options and press "Enter" to select the function you want to access.
