Improperly displayed or incorrect colors on a computer are the fault of malfunctioning display drivers, which are the files that your computer uses to interface with your graphics card. These files can be reinstalled and repaired by downloading a fresh copy from your graphics card's manufacturer, allowing you to quickly restore your color display to optimal levels.
Things You'll Need
- Driver files
Navigate to the webpage of your graphics card manufacturer.
Click on the "Drivers" page and input in the model of your card along with your operating system.
Click on the latest driver and select "Save" to save it to your hard drive.
Double-click on the downloaded file and follow the onscreen instructions to install the driver, overwriting the old, faulty driver.
Reboot your computer.
