• Clean rag

1. Clean your skimboard thoroughly using rubbing alcohol. Apply a small amount of rubbing alcohol to a clean, dry rag and wipe down the entire board.

2. Choose the correct bar of surf wax. If you are using your skimboard in a warm climate, you might want to choose a surf wax with has a high temperature rating. 3. Wax the skimboard with using a base coat of tropical, or high temperature wax, according to the instructions that came with the wax. Follow this with a thorough application of the cool temperature wax.
