How to Burn Xbox 360 Games to a Hard Drive
The Xbox 360's hard drive can be handy for a number of reasons, including storing large amounts of media or transferring game data to a new console. The hard drive can also store entire Xbox 360 games.

Open your disc tray, insert the game you're copying to your hard drive, then close the tray. The game will begin loading on your Xbox 360 but you will need to access the dashboard to copy it.

Press the "Guide" button and choose "Xbox Dashboard" from the list to open your dashboard.

Go to "My Xbox." The first area of this section allows you to open your game or view its details.

View your game's details by pressing "Y."

Select "Install to hard drive." The game will copy to your hard drive unless there is insufficient memory. Choose "Delete suggestions" if this is the case. Press the "X" button on items you want to delete until you have enough memory on your hard drive to install the game.

Press "A" when the copy process completes.
