Upgrade your IE in Windows Pro

Windows Pro works well with Internet Explorer. Microsoft is always updating Internet Explorer, so every year or so there is a newer version of IE to download. When you are running Windows Pro, you will also want to have the newest version of Internet Explorer so you can surf the web at the current fastest and easiest rate. It is very easy to upgrade Internet Explorer in Windows Pro.

Instructions

1. Turn on your computer so Windows Pro can start.

2. Click on the Internet Explorer icon and open up the web browser.

3. Go to the site listed in references and click on the newest version of Internet Explorer.

4. Choose "Download" and click "Ok" to start the download process.

5. Close your window when prompted and click on the downloaded IE to start the installation process. Follow the on screen prompts specific to your computer. Restart your computer when prompted.

Tips & Warnings

• The references site will always have the newest version of IE, and will be updated as each version comes out or will provide a link to the newest version.

• If you wish to upgrade to a version of IE lower than the current version, follow the links on the reference site to find other IE versions to download.
