How to Convert to a PES File Extension with Digitizing Software
While embroidery patterns used to be created manually, there are now digitizing computer software programs that can be used to create brand new patterns or turn existing images into embroidery patterns. These patterns are loaded onto special embroidery machines that can read the pattern’s directions and guide the sewer as they stitch. In order to load a pattern onto a Bernina, Baby Lock, or Brother sewing machine, the original pattern must be converted into a PES file with digitizing software.
