How to Insert HTML Into an Email Using Outlook


MS Outlook is an email program developed by Microsoft that allows users to view and send email from POP- and IMAP-based email addresses. Since 1998, Outlook has supported HTML-based email as long as you turn on the HTML email support button. Inserting HTML into your Outlook email allows you to send newsletters and other types of HTML pages to friends, clients and family easily.

Things You'll Need

  • HTML file
  • Open Outlook on your PC. Click the "Tools" menu button and select “Options.”

  • Click on “Mail Format” and check “HTML” in the "Message Format" box.

  • Click “File” under the "Insert" menu.

  • Select the HTML file you want to insert and press the arrow button facing down next to the “Insert” button.

  • Select “Insert as Text.” The HTML file will appear in the email message with text and pictures formatted in HTML.
