How to Restore PC Speakers
PC speakers are hardware components containing barely any moving parts. Because there are so few moving parts, there are rarely problems with speakers. When there are sound problems, the likely culprit is the software the computer is using to control the speakers. The software can become corrupted due to viruses or other system problems. Restoring your speakers means reinstalling a working copy of the audio driver, which can be done in minutes.
