This amount is going to be the total amount of money that is left on each one of the cards. For example if you have 3 cards each with $1 on it, then you will tell them that you would like to purchase a visa gift card for $3.

Purchase the card using your other visa gift cards. When you purchase the card tell them that you would like the balance of each of the cards to go on a single visa card. You will most likely have to tell the amount of money on each card. So, tell them what the balance is on each card and they will zero out the balance on the old card and put it all on the new card. In some cases you will not need a new card, and the balance of the other cards can be combined onto one of the visa gift cards that you already have.
