How to Convert VOB Files to MPEG Files

How to Convert VOB Files to MPEG Files thumbnail
DVDs save movies in the VOB format.

DVD manufacturers use the DVD Video Object (VOB) file format for saving DVD playback content. VOBs usually take up lots of hard-drive space and contain high-definition content. In order to increase the compatibility of VOBs on both Macs and PCs, you can convert VOBs into MPEGs, which work in nearly all movie programs. Multiple free web conversion tools can transfer your VOBs into MPEG files for no charge.
