How to Download iPhone Apps Through iTunes from a PC

If you think it is easier, you can download applications for your iPhone from your computer instead of from the phone itself. You can browse the App Store from your computer just like you would from the iPhone. This may be easier if you are interested in mass downloading applications because you do not want to bog down your iPhone and make it run slower. Remember that you can use iTunes for App purchases, as well as the usual music and movie purchases.

Instructions

1. Open iTunes on your computer.

2. Click on "iTunes Store."

3. Click on the "App Store" tab at the top.

4. Browse and search for the application you want. You can download games, ringtone libraries, lifestyle apps, productivity apps and more.

5. Select the application you want to download. Click the button on the left that says "Free App" or "Buy" (buy will be with the price of the app).

6. Enter your Apple ID and password and click "Get."

7. Wait for the application to download.

8. Connect your iPhone to the computer with the iPhone USB cable and allow the iPhone to sync with iTunes. The application will appear on the phone after it syncs and is disconnected.
