How to Open My NAT on a Verizon Actiontec GT-704
Most routers, including the Actiontec GT-704, provide users with Network Address Translation (NAT). NAT allows you to securely connect various computers on your home's network to your router. For most users, these settings will never need to be altered. However, for those who use online services, such as Xbox Live, you may need to open your router's NAT to improve the performance of a particular device.
