Instructions

1. Go to System > Preferences on the Ubuntu desktop. Here you'll find a list of all the settings you can manipulate in Ubuntu.

2. Click on "Preferred Applications." This program allows you to change the default applications for Internet, Multimedia, System and Accessibility.

3. Click on the "Multimedia" tab. Click on the drop-down menu below "Multimedia Player" and select the media player you want as default. Click "Close" and your new settings are saved.
