How to Copy Excel Worksheet Contents Without the Formulas

There are several options for copying and pasting content in Excel. For example, if you want to copy the contents of an Excel worksheet and paste it into another worksheet without copying the formulas, it is easy to do so. This is useful so you can avoid getting a reference error in a cell when copying content from one workbook to another.

Instructions

1. Open the Excel worksheet that you want to copy.

2. Either highlight the cells you want to copy or click the "Select All" button if you want to copy the contents of an entire worksheet.

3. Right-click over the selected cells and select "Copy" from the menu that opens. You can also copy the cells by clicking the "Home" tab and clicking the "Copy" button.

4. Open the worksheet you want to copy the contents to.

5. Click the "Home" tab and look to the "Clipboard" section of the ribbon.

6. Click the "Paste" button and then select "Paste Values." The cells you copied will now be pasted into the new worksheet without the formulas.
