How to Clean Leather Car Interiors
One of the best things about a leather car interior is that it is easier to maintain than cloth interiors. Knowing how to properly clean the leather will ensure that it lasts as long as possible. Make sure to gather all of the proper tools before beginning the cleaning process, and use all of them correctly so you do not risk scratching or tearing the leather.
Things You'll Need

- Dust brush attachment

1
Vacuum all interior parts of the car using the brush attachment piece at the tip of the vacuum hose. Using the brush ensures you will not scratch the leather. Do not be afraid to press firmly against the leather, especially in the seams and crevices, to remove dirt that has been pressed into them.
-
2
Dampen a soft cloth or soft towel with warm water and gently swipe it over all leather areas. Do not soak the cloth. It will take the leather longer to dry, and that could potentially cause mildew growth.
-
-
3
Spray a small amount of fabric protectant on a foam applicator pad. Rub it in a circular motion along the leather seats, console, dashboard, and doors.
-
4
Allow the protectant to dry for about an hour.
-
5
Apply a few sprays of the leather conditioner and work it in circular motions over the entire leather interior. Allow it to dry naturally.
