How to Set the Day of the Week on an Invicta

Save

Manufactured since 1837, Invicta watches are available in a variety of styles and sold through a number of retail, jewelry and online outlets. The watches display not only the time, but also the day of the week. Invicta watches contain a screwed-in place crown that keeps moisture, water and other liquids from entering the watch and damaging the internal controls. The secured crown must be unscrewed to access the watch's time and date setting control.

Rotate the crown counterclockwise until it is free from the watch's body. The crown is the circular, grooved dial on the right side of the watch. The watch will stop running.

Do not use force to turn the crown as this can damage the crown.

Turn the watch's crown to check what position the crown is in. If the date display is changing, the crown is in position 1. If the time is changing, the crown is in position 2.

Push the crown in, if the crown is in position 2.

Turn the crown until you reach the correct day of the week.

Pull the crown out to position 2, turn the crown to the correct time, if the time is incorrect.

Push the crown in completely when you are finished setting the day of the week/time on the Invicta watch.

Rotate the crown clockwise until it is tight against the watch's body. The watch will start running.
