Tips & Warnings
You can also right-click on your current tab, then select "New Tab" or "Open a New Tab" from the menu that appears. The new tab will open to the immediate right of your original tab. If you do not have a mouse or touch pad, you can press and hold the CTRL key, then press the letter "t" on your keyboard. This keyboard-only shortcut will also open new tabs in Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, and Safari browsers.
If a new tab does not appear using any of the above mentioned techniques, select "File" at the top left hand corner of your window. Choose "New Tab" in the pulldown menu that appears to start a new tab. This works for Internet Explorer and Mozilla Firefox browsers.
There is no limit for the number of tabs you can have open. However, the more tabs you have open, the more memory is required to keep each task running; this may significantly slow down your computer's response for loading pages. When you have finished browsing a website, close that tab down to ensure your computer speed remains unaffected.
