Bodybugg is a device that is worn on the back of the upper arm, where it senses calorie burn. The physiological mechanics of this device are comprised of several measurements including: motion, body heat, skin conductivity, and skin temperature. Even though it is no longer manufactured, if you own a Bodybugg, charging it requires only a few simple steps.
Things You'll Need
- USB cable (included with device)
Remove the strap from your Bodybugg to expose the USB port. This can be done by holding the device with the armband test facing up. Push the right side of the armband downward until it separates from the strap.
Plug the USB cable into the Bodybugg and then into your computer. Ensure that the computer is powered on and not in "sleep" or "hibernation" mode or the device will not charge.
Leave the Bodybugg to charge. If the battery is fully depleted this will take approximately three hours. Once the battery light flashes green the device is fully charged. A fully charged Bodybugg will last about five to seven days before needing to be recharged.
