One way to get free samples is to take a few surveys. Unfortunately, taking surveys can take up so much of your time, that it is often not worth the free sample you get at the end. There are plenty of ways to get free samples where the only requirement is your name and the address where you want the free sample sent. Just make sure that you are not required to use a credit card to get the free sample. That is a sign of a scam.

Check Walmart's website (see Resources) once per week to get free samples. These samples are of name brand products. All you have to do is choose "In Stores Now" from the drop down menu, and then click on "Free Samples." Click on the sample you want and fill out your name and address.

Locate free samples by joining a few freebie forums. These forums allow you to find hundreds of free samples. This is because individuals on the forums share where they are finding the free samples. That helps you apply for samples that you wouldn't have known about otherwise.

You won't find as many free samples from these websites as you would on the forums because it is just one website owner locating freebies and posting them to their site. Many companies will issue a free sample upon request. Even if they won't give you a full free sample, they may send you a coupon to get the product at a discount.

Beware of websites that offer you free $250 gift cards. They are scams, and will expect you to make several purchases to qualify for this supposedly free gift card.
