How to Recover Deleted Files From Shift Delete
In Windows, pressing the shift and delete keys together when a file is selected will permanently delete the file, bypassing the Recycle Bin. However, a file that is permanently deleted isn't immediately removed from the hard drive. Instead, the hard drive sector where the file is located is set to allow new data to be written, but until a new file is stored there, the old file can be recovered. If you need to recover a permanently deleted file, there are a number of utilities that can scan your computer and assist you in restoring the file.
