How to Light a Punch Bowl

Add a glow to your next party by lighting a punch bowl

Punch is a mixed drink that is served in a wide bowl known as a punch bowl. The fruity drink is typically served at parties and may contain alcohol depending on the event and guests attending. The punch bowl is often a centerpiece where guests, friends and family gather to pour the drinks and make conversation. To add a little life and color to the party or event, LED lights can be used to make the punch bowl glow. The lights come in a variety of colors perfect for any theme.

Things You'll Need

• Clear punch bowl
• LED lights (light-up ice cubes)

Instructions

1. Purchase a clear punch bowl. The bowl must be clear in order for the light to show through.

2. Fill the bowl with your choice of punch.

3. Purchase waterproof (submersible) LED light-up ice cubes. The lights are 1-inch plastic blocks that look like frozen ice cubes. Lights come in a variety of colors including white, green, blue, purple, orange, pink and rainbow and can be purchased from many online retailers. Purchase two or more light-up cubes to ensure the light is properly dispersed throughout the bowl.

4. Turn the LED lights on. The "On/Off" switch is often located on the bottom of the ice cube. Drop the lights into the bowl.
