How to Create Your Own Mortal Kombat Character
Generations of gamers have played Midway's "Mortal Kombat" franchise, one of the most well-known fighting video game series. "Mortal Kombat: Armageddon" gives gamers what they've come to enjoy from the series, as well as new features, including a "Kreate A Fighter" mode. By creating your own "Mortal Kombat" character, you can personalize your fighting experience and quench your thirst for virtual blood.

Choose the "Profiles" option on the main menu.

Choose the "Create Profile" option.

Type in your profile name and select "Done," then "Yes."

Choose an icon to represent your profile from the list of options.

Using the buttons on your game controller, enter a six-character code that will allow you access to your profile. Memorize the code or write it down--you'll need it to access your account.

Select the memory card to which you want to save the profile.

Enter your profile when the main menu appears again. A control prompt appears at the bottom of the screen.

Choose the "Kreate A Fighter" option.

Choose the "Appearance" option to alter your character's physical characteristics, including gender, size, skin color and clothing.

Choose the "Fighting Style" option to change your characters fighting "Basics," which defines your character's fighting styles; and "Attacks," which is a list of different fighting moves you designate to your fighter.

Choose the "Weapon Style" option to change your character's weapon. Select "Basics" to designate your weapon style name, what weapon your character uses and weapon fighting stance. Select "Attacks" to choose from the list of moves you would like your character to perform when using his weapon.

Choose the "Special Moves" option to select from the list of special attacks you would like your character to use during combat.

Choose the "Extras" option to select what your character will sound like during combat and your character's victory stance.

Choose the "Biography" option to name your character and provide any background information about your character, such as how they fit into the "Mortal Kombat" universe.

Select the "Back" option when finished. Select the "Yes" option when prompted to save the changes.

Tips & Warnings
Many of the options to create your character, such as moves and clothing, require gold. You can acquire gold by playing the game's "Konquest" and "Kombat" modes.
