The RCA MP3 player truly depicts easy listening. Downloading music to an RCA MP3 player requires little technical experience, due to the device's simplified functions. Downloading can be done by digitally transferring songs from the computer's hard drive to the MP3 player's internal memory drive. Overall, downloading to the RCA player can be done with ease, in just a few minutes.

Instructions

    • 1

      Establish a stable connection between the RCA MP3 player device and one of the computer's USB ports.

      Access the digital media application from the computer's desktop. (Digital media applications are programs such as Windows Media Player, RealPlayer, and iTunes. In most cases, one of the three will be pre-installed to your computer. See Tips if you do not have a digital media player application.)

      Locate and select the RCA MP3 player's icon that will displayed along the side of the digital media player window.

      Click "Sync" at the top of the digital media player window to open the area where your downloaded music will go.

      Open the media player's library, by clicking the "Library" tab. All of the songs stored to the media player will be displayed.

      Control-click to create your playlist by holding down the CTRL key on the keyboard. Simultaneously click each music file you want to transfer to the Sync playlist.

      Drag the selected music files to the "Sync" pane and click the "Start Sync" button at the bottom of the playlist once you have selected all songs for your playlist. Once the synchronization process is complete, all the selected songs will be downloaded to the RCA player's internal memory drive.

Tips & Warnings

  • If you do not have a digital media player application installed to your computer, see the Resources section below to download and install one for your computer.

  • Music must be stored to the computer for downloading to the RCA MP3 player. Music can be ripped from CDs or purchased online to be downloaded to the computer. (See Resources for purchase options.)

  • Once music is purchased ad stored to the computer, it must also be imported to the digital media player for playback and synchronization. (See Resources for importing instructions.)
