When transferring data from an old computer to a new one, you don't want to forget your list of Internet bookmarks or favorites. Most popular browsers use a simple export and import system that allows you to turn your bookmarks into an HTML file that can be saved and transferred. It is also a good idea to export your favorites from time to time just to have a backup of them in case something happens to corrupt your browser.

Instructions

      Open your Internet Explorer browser on your old computer.

      Click on the "Favorites" button, then click on the little black arrow next to "Add to Favorites."
