Need to go to one of those Web addresses you've heard on the radio or seen on TV? Here's how you type in the address to get there.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Internet Access
  • Internet Explorer
  • Netscape Navigator
  • Netscape Navigator
  • Internet Explorer

    Internet Explorer 5

  1. Step 1

    Open Internet Explorer.

  2. Step 2

    Click to highlight whatever is in the address bar (the big white space at the top of the window, next to the word "Address").

  3. Step 3

    Type the Internet address over it, or press Delete on your keyboard and then type.

  4. Step 4

    Press Enter on your keyboard to go to the page.

  5. Netscape Navigator

  6. Step 1

    Open Navigator.

  7. Step 2

    Click to highlight whatever is in the Netsite bar.

  8. Step 3

    Type the Internet address over it, or press Delete on your keyboard and then type.

  9. Step 4

    Press Enter on your keyboard to go to the page.

on 11/22/2005 Rather than type in a complete Web site address (http://www.....com), just type in the site name and press CRTL and ENTER. For example, only type in ehow and press CTRL + ENTER and you have http://www.ehow.com ...
