Things You'll Need
- 2 teaspoons honey
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- Pinch of salt
- Pinch of turmeric
- Small bowl
- Spoon
- Skin moisturizer
- Cream containing 4 percent hydroquinone

See your dermatologist first. Your doctor may have to prescribe the hydroquinone cream. The creams that can be purchased over the county may not be effective enough for the whole body.

Combine the honey, lemon juice, pinch of salt and pinch of turmeric into a small bowl. Stir with a spoon to combine thoroughly.

Wash your face and body using the homemade skin lightening mixture. Do this at night before going to bed. When the mixture has dried, apply a skin moisturizer to your face and body so you don't become too dry.

Wash your face with cool water in the morning. Apply the hydroquinone cream to your face and body in the morning. Apply just a very thin layer of the cream. The best cream to use is a hydroquinone cream that contains an SPF to keep your skin protected from the sun.

Repeat this regiment for three months. If after three months you haven't noticed an improvement, contact your dermatologist.
