How to Set Up a Wireless Camera
A wireless camera can be useful for general security and surveillance. The wireless camera sends video over a wireless network to a computer. The camera can also be accessed remotely using a variety of devices.

Connect the Ethernet cable from from the computer to the camera.

Open a Web browser and access the camera using the camera's address.
The camera's address can be found in the user manual and it usually starts "http://192.168.X.X" where "X.X" would be the specific numbers for that particular camera.

Use the menus to set the both the admin and wireless ID and password. This can also be done by running the installation CD that is bundled with the wireless camera.
This is important so that not just anyone can access the camera.

Save the settings and disconnect the camera. The camera should now be functioning wirelessly and can be accessed using a Web browser. Additional software from the bundled CD may need to be installed for you to be able to use all the functions of the camera.

Tips & Warnings
Running the Installation CD is the easiest way to set up the camera. The CD will guide a user to set the administrative and wireless IDs and passwords.
