How to Connect a WiFi Antenna
A WiFi antenna is designed to boost the wireless Internet signal to a computer equipped with a wireless card. WiFi antennas are typically used with laptops for their portability and the need to receive a wireless Internet connection when working remotely with the laptop. An antenna increases the computer's range for receiving a signal in hot spots such as airports, coffee shops and anywhere else a WiFi signal is available.
