1
Reconnect the camera to the printer dock. Compatible cameras will fit snuggly on the dock prongs and will face the paper load tray. If the camera faces the wrong way, or does not fit on the prongs, it may not be compatible with the dock. Check your owner's manual for a compatibility guide.

2
Reset the printer. If you have recently cleared a paper jam or changed the ink, and the printer is still not responding, unplug the power cord and then wait five seconds. Then reconnect the power.

3
Clean cooling vents. If there is dust or dirt on the cooling fans it can contaminate the ink and make your prints seem darker. Wipe down the cooling vents on the back of the printer to remove dust and dirt. If you have stuck on dirt, you can use a cloth dampened with a small amount of isopropyl (rubbing) alcohol to rub away persistent dirt.

4
Make sure that genuine Kodak paper and ink is installed. Using third-party brands with your EasyShare printer may cause it to malfunction.
-
5
Move printer to a new location. If the printer is in a warm area (such as next to a computer tower or in direct sunlight) the printer may malfunction. Move the printer to a new location, wait a few moments, and then try using it again.
