Home pages are the web pages that appear when you open a web browser.

A home page is what appears when you open a web browser. For example, the default home page in Internet Explorer is MSN. The home page can be changed, however, to whatever page you want it to be.

Instructions

  1. Internet Explorer

      Open Internet Explorer and click on "Tools" on the top toolbar.

      Open "Internet Options" and in the "General" tab, type the web address of the page you want as your home page into the box within the "Home Page" section.

      Click "Apply" to save the changes and click "OK" to close the window.

    Mozilla Firefox

      Open Mozilla Firefox and click on the "Tools" tab.

      Click on "Options" and select the "Main" tab in the Options window.

      Type in the web address (e.g. http://www.yourhomepage.com) of the page that you want to be your home page in the box next to "Home Page."

    • 7

      Click "OK" to save the changes and close the "Options" window.
