How to Read a Magazine on iPad
The iPad seems tailor-made for reading magazines and newspapers. Publications have been quick to release apps for the mobile device. With the in-app purchase feature now available on the iPad, the apps themselves are usually free. Readers are expected to pay to subscribe or buy individual issues to read on the free app. With the introduction of iOS 5, the new app Newsstand, gathers any existing publication apps you've downloaded and displays them in a central location.
