How to Change Your iPhone Voicemail Greeting Message

Did you know it is relatively easy to change your iPhone's voicemail greeting message?

In fact, changing your voicemail message is just about as easy as checking your visual voicemail.

Follow these steps below to learn how to quickly change your iPhone voicemail recording.

Instructions

1. First, to change your iPhone voicemail greeting, navigate to the phone app on your device. The phone app is the one with the white phone icon in a white box. For many users, it will be one of the permanent four apps on the bottom of the screen.

2. Next, press the phone app icon to enter the phone application.

3. Locate the "Voicemail" button in the bottom right of the screen to enter Voicemail.

4. Once in the iPhone's voicemail program, select the "Greeting" button in the upper right of the screen.

5. 

   In the Greeting menu, you can either select the default voicemail greeting or record your own (Custom).

   To record your own iPhone voicemail message, select "Record" in the bottom right. When you are finished recording, select "Play" to play back your message. If you you are happy with your new message, select "Save" in the upper right to save your new Custom voicemail.
