How to Change iPhone Calendar Colors

Change the color of the calendar on your computer and then re-sync your iPhone.

Changing the color of the iPhone's calendars cannot be done on the iPhone itself. You will need to change the color of the calendar on iCal on your computer and then re-sync your device to have the colors changed. The iPhone can be synced either through iTunes or through MobileMe.

Instructions

1. In iCal, select the calendar whose color you wish to change from the menu on the left. Hold the "control" key down on your keyboard and click on the calendar's name. Select "Get Info" from the menu that appears.

2. A dialogue box will open that will allow you to edit the calendar. To the right of the calendar's name is a drop-down menu. From it, you can select a new color for your calendar. If the color you want is not listed, there is an option to designate a custom color by selecting "Other." Click "OK."

3. Plug your iPhone into your computer and re-sync it through either iTunes or MobileMe. Ensure that calendar syncing is enabled. This will change the color of your calendars on your iPhone to match those on iCal.
