How Do I Get a Laptop to Connect to Satellite Internet Wirelessly?

Satellite Internet connections can be broadcast over a wireless network in the same way as cable and DSL Internet connections. Once you have a working wireless satellite Internet network set up in your home, you only need to point out the network to your laptop in order to connect. Then you can enjoy the high-speed satellite Internet network no matter where you are in your home.

Instructions

1. Click the "Wireless Network Connection" icon. This icon will be in the far right corner of your desktop, at the bottom next to the digital clock.

2. Click on the name of your satellite Internet wireless connection that is present in the list of available connections that has expanded on screen.

3. Click the "Connect" button. If you have password-protected your satellite Internet connection, type the password into the box you see on screen. You will then be connected to your wireless satellite Internet connection.
