How Do I Get Music From Windows Media Player to iTunes?
Transferring your music from Windows Media Player to iTunes is a fairly simple process, providing that you store your music in only one or two folders. If your audio tracks are more scattered across your computer or external storage devices, you may wish to consolidate your tunes into one folder to simplify the process. By default, Windows stores your music files to the "C:\Users\Username\Music\" in Windows Vista and Windows 7 and "C:\Documents and Settings\Username\My Documents\My Music" in Windows XP.
