How to Change Blogroll Name in Wordpress Link Widget

WordPress, a publishing platform that allows you to manage your blog and website content, offers the ability to add link widgets, such as “Blogroll,” to your pages. The “Blogroll” element allows you to place external links on the side of your display without needing to do this in the code page, but consider replacing this widget title to personalize it. Using the settings in your WordPress administration panel (dashboard), change the blogroll name in your own WordPress site.

Instructions

1. Log in to your Wordpress account and click the “Link Categories” option under the “Links” section.

2. Hover your mouse over the “Blogroll” name and click the “Edit” link that appears underneath this title.

3. Type in the preferred name in the “Link Category name” text field and enter an associated URL name (slug) in the “Link Category slug” field. The entry in the “Link Category name” field replaces the existing “Blogroll” name.

4. Click the “Update Category” button to preserve your changes.
