      On Google Translate, copy and paste a body of German text into the empty box. You can also enter a URL of a webpage to be translated or click "Upload a document."

      Under "Translate From," select "German." Under "Translate Into," select "English." There are over 50 languages you can translate with Google.

      Click "Translate." Your translated text will appear.

    Yahoo! Babelfish

      Enter a block of text, if it is up to 150 words. Otherwise, you can translate a webpage by entering the URL.

      From the drop-down menu, select "German to English."

      Click "Translate."

    World Lingo

      Type, or copy and paste, your German text in the box on the left. The translator has a limit of 500 words. Select accented vowels and other symbols.

      In the "From" menu, select "German." Select the subject of your text.

      Click "Translate." Your text will appear in the box on the right. Click "Print" to print the translated text.
