How to Message Someone in Twitter

If you wish to respond to another person's Twitter posts, you can either publish a public response, or send a private message. Private messages can be sent to any Twitter user that you follow. It's just as easy to send a message as it is to update a Twitter post.

Instructions

1. Go to Twitter.com and log in to your account.

2. Click on the "Direct Messages" link on the right side of your Twitter account page.

3. Locate the drop-down menu of users that you follow. Choose the user you want to send the message to.

4. Type in your message and click "Send."
