Instructions

    • 1

Make sure your hair is clean, dry and free of tangles.

    • 2

Part the hair to the side, 2 inches to the right of the center of your forehead.

    • 3

Section out your bangs. With the hair to the left of the part, gather forward the front 3 ½ inches of hair. Using the round brush, pull this section out from underneath, curling the ends under (toward your face) as you do so. Spray the section lightly with hairspray. Starting with the tip of the section, loop the bangs under with your fingers, rolling them up to your hairline. Secure this section with bobby pins.

    • 4

Separate the section of hair from the side part to just above your right ear, gathering it together (as you would for a high ponytail) to meet the part at the back of your head, brushing out the lumps as you go. Twist the end of the section of hair twice in a counterclockwise direction to tighten it together. Secure the section with two bobby pins. Smooth the tail of the section down with your comb, pressing down on the bobby pins so they do not dislodge.

    • 5

Gather the section of hair from the left of the part to the left temple, as you did in Step 4. Without touching your bangs, twist this section together at the back of the head in a clockwise direction. Secure the section with two bobby pins. Pressing down on the bobby pins, smooth the tail of the section down with your brush.

    • 6

Release your bangs from the “tube.” Smooth them out with your brush. Grab the tip of the section and twist it together for a stronger grip. Without letting go, tightly loop the bangs under and up to your hairline as you did in Step 3.

    • 7

You should now be holding a small wreath of hair; with bobby pins, secure this wreath at the hairline, just above your left temple. Reach under the “tube” of bangs and pull gently backwards on it to create an arch. Spray with hairspray. Your bangs should now arch in a wave to the left, with the secured wreath of hair at the end. Lightly cover the styled bangs with hairspray.

    • 8

Gather the loose back hair into a low side ponytail, twisting it together twice at the base. Tie the hair together with your hair tie, just beneath the twist. Smooth the ends of your ponytail with the round brush.

    • 9

Pin your faux hair flower just above the hair tie, at the twisted base of the ponytail.

    • 10

Use bobby pins to further secure the hairstyle, smooth bumps and eliminate stray hairs. Spray a light layer of hairspray over the entire hairstyle.
