How to Connect With High School Friends
Connecting with all of your friends from high school after several years is so much fun. You get to see what they are doing now and if they are married with children of their own. There are so many avenues for reconnecting with your old high school friends that you can find almost all of them in one way or another. The Internet makes the world so much smaller, even if your classmates are now living halfway around the world.

1
Check old information from when you were in high school such as their addresses and phone numbers, since many of their parents still live in the same homes or would at least know where their own children are now living.
-
2
Join social networking sites such as classmates.com, reunion.com or facebook.com. Type a friend's name into their search engines and see what comes up. Search through duplicate names until you locate the person you were looking for.

3
Send an email. Find the president of the class and see if he has any current information on any of the classmates. Ask if he has an updated address list with street addresses and/or email addresses.
-
4
Ask around. Ask the classmates with whom you are in contact if they know the whereabouts of a specific student, as more often than not, somebody will know something.
-
5
Search for yourself. Use sites such as oldfriendsearch.com and put in the names of your missing high school friends and see what comes up.
-
6
Do a Google search for your friend and you might be surprised at what a search turns up. Type in their name and put quotation marks around it and click "Search." Look through the entries that come up and see if any of them match the description of your high school friend. Keep in mind any careers they may have mentioned while in school; also check locations to see if they are living in the surrounding area of where you grew up.
-
7
Use professional help to find a missing high school friend. Choose a private investigator or an online site that promises to find a friend or loved one. Check the prices and the reputability of the company before you give them any money.
